Ethical Twitter Marketing

Each of the social media sites has its own particular features and audience demographics, and thus the type of content we prefer to publish to drive maximum engagement.

Twitter has a fairly stable user base of 330 million regular users, of which 13.7 million reside in the UK. This makes its UK audience reach only 38% of Facebook’s. However this doesn’t make it any less effective, since Twitter users on the whole tend to use the site for active discussion and receiving news updates and commentary from people, brands and journalists.

Twitter is what has become known as a ‘micro-blogging’ site, and very succinct expression is to the fore.

Facebook, on the other hand, is used primarily as a source of entertainment and for keeping in contact with friends and family. Thus the two platforms are very different and published content needs to be created or adapted accordingly.

What we do

If you don’t already have an existing Twitter account business, we will create it for you. And if you do have one, we will optimise it as one component of a marketing strategy developed to meet your objectives. This strategy will guide how we operate your Twitter account, find new followers, interact with them and promote your products and services.

We will also evaluate the Twitter presence of your direct competitors and similar businesses operating nationally to see what works well for them and what definitely isn’t working.

We will make fresh and relevant posts on a regular basis (at least daily on weekdays), supplied either by yourselves or created by us on your behalf.

In general, Twitter posts will link back to relevant and interesting articles on your website or blog in order to drive engagement and enhance visibility. We will assist with the creation of this content.

We will also engage with other Twitter users and build your account’s follower numbers.
